Bears Win

Despite nearly giving the game away, the Chicago Bears defeated the Chiefs 20-10 yesterday. The defense looked pretty good (even though future opponents surely noticed the success Dwayne Bowe had going up for jump balls in the endzone), especially pressuring Chiefs QB Damon Huard and limiting Chiefs All Pro RB Larry Johnson to 55 yards. Bears RB Cedric Benson also got back on track, didn’t fumble the ball and topped the 100-yard rushing mark. The big question is how long can the Bears roll with QB Rex Grossman? He looked downright pathetic in the second half, and damn near cost the Bears what should have been an easy victory.
