Bears Debut in Prime Time

Set your schedule for September 7, 2008, but better make it 7:00 instead of 12:00.  The Chicago Bears will start the 2008 season playing against the Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis for Sunday Night Football.  The rematch of last year’s Super Bowl will serve as the ceremony to open up the Colts brand new stadium.

Emotions will be running high for the Colts and the match up almost has that feeling when your high school football team couldn’t get their arch rival to play them for Homecoming, so they settled for a team they knew they could slaughter and have a good time.  This Bears squad looks to be a shadow of the Supre Bowl team of a few years ago and opening against the Colts doesn’t help matters.
