The Dallas Cowboys released controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens on Wednesday night.   With the complete and utter lack of proven wide receiver talent on the Bears, it is tempting to think about taking a sniff in Owens’ direction.  I know that I have ripped Jerry Angelo for his lack of activity this offseason, but now is not the time to wake him up.  Owens is a cancer and destroys any team he goes to.  He tore apart the Eagles en route to a Super Bowl appearance and hasn’t done the Cowboys any good in trying to even win a playoff game.  [...]

I’ve been off for a couple of weeks and am a little backed up, so it’s time to let loose and LOWER THE BOOM on Chicago Bears GM Jerry Angelo.  Hey, somebody wake Jerry up so he can show off his “geniusness.”  The NFL’s free agency period began nearly a week ago and all the Bears have to show for their efforts is the signing of career backup offensive lineman Frank Omiyale.  While real NFL teams go out and acquire real NFL players like Albert Haynseworth, TJ Houshmandzadah and Matt Cassel, Jerry is content to hang back and wait.  For [...]

Hey Bears fans.  Sorry for my extended absence, but I’ve been doing a bit of “recruiting” of my own.  Please allow me to introduce a member of the 2031 draft class, Cooper Michael Burzawa. The newest Bears fan and member of the Fansided family was born on February 18, 2009 weighing in at 8 lbs 10 ozs and measuring 21.5″ long.  After a bit of a stay in the hospital to recover, the whole family is back at home.  Cooper has a 1/4″ vertical , runs the 40 in 4.5 days but still scored higher than half the Florida State [...]
