I think you’re right on about Melton being a rush specialist, but as far as getting a handoff…??? I don’t know. But can u imagine a backfield with Melton and Lance Louis?

I would like to see Melton turn into a package player, being able to sub for tired ends and possibly being able to get that very important yard we would normally hand off to jason mckie.

I don’t think that they were really thinking of LL to be a TE that catches a lot of balls. He is like having a sixth OL. If the other team gets to comfortable with him being in as a blocker, you occasionally throw to him. 4.76 forty time is faster than a lot of LBs. He is an interesting pick. In the 7th round, I like the pick. He might evenbe an interesting option as a blocking FB, in goal line situations.

Im so excited for the upcoming season. Living in California limits the depth of any Bear coverage. Hopefully we will get big name wide receiver.
