… said James whose team was beaten by said Bears which actually cost them Home Field Advantage. Despite our lousy season, I am thrilled that our lousy-ass team had even the smallest part in preventing the Vikings from advancing.

I realized watching this game that it’s not Favre I hate as much as the over the top coverage of Favre. With every hit, they have to show him wincing and his wife gasping in the stands. It’s worse than a fucking Lifetime Movie my wife would watch. I could not have survived two weeks of Favre Super Bowl coverage.

Enjoy the next seven months of Favre retirement watch and wondering what if the best running back in the game could hold onto the damn ball and the future Hall of Famer didn’t throw it away when you absolutely could not afford it.

The Vikings, with Favre in command, creamed the NFC North. Understandably, you are aggrieved. Understandably, your grief has turned into hatred for this acclaimed future Hall of Famer. Crawl into a pool of despair and rot. Despite the interception, despite the 5 turnovers, the Vikings were still just 3 points short. The Bears were about 65 points short!
