Chicago Bears Press Conference: Major Wright Selection

Did Jerry say “we hope we did our homework rightly?”  Hopefully he did his research better than his English homework.  Rightly?  Seriously??

Then toward the end of the call he goes on to compare Wright to Bobby Gray.  Bobby Freaking Gray?  Don’t know who that is?  He was a JA pick back in 2002 and my best guess is that he is working in a car wash nowadays.

What’s worse is that he goes on to invoke the name of Mike Brown.  In recent vintage, he’s the gold standard for safeties.  That’s some high praise.  I hope Major can be half the player that Brownie was.
