Hey Boomer...

Read the first poll question to the right....

"and a strong draft have me thinking Super Bowl"

What draft are they referring to? '83?

Scared management surrounds itself with yes men and there wasn't much of a draft to screw up this year.

I am with you West Coast! What makes this worse is that Ruskell got a 3-year deal!

As oddly as both coordinators positions were handled, hiring this position AFTER both free agency and the draft is tough. The Bear management painted itself into a corner until only Martz was left and fell back to Marinelli, now this. We never addressed the offensive line and are hoping TIce can work magic with the same props Turner failed with... kinda sounds like the story we were told last year about Marinelli.

And allowing Alex Brown and Ogunleye to leave negates the addition of Peppers. Someone has to man the opposite side and Christian has shown next to nothing. Izzy is a player, but once again the braintrust is moving him around, a stab in the dark.

Time to clean house.

I couldn't agree with you more Boomer! Doesn't it feel like the "new ideas" that Lovie and Jerry first came in with have moved past the point of passe? Seems to me like the game has evolved away from the Cover-2 and the Pro-Set.

And don't get me started about moving a shotgun QB (Cutler) and making him almost exclusively a drop-back passer.

Maybe Ruskell can run the Bears into the ground just like he did with the Seahawks. LOL
