It's allowing said greed to get in the way of the organization. If, for some reason, Da Coach hates his little mustache caricature on a package of wienies so much that he delays the shipment until a new package is made (thus ruining all meat/product) then i can see the comparison. But he's most likely just got some guy that says "sign here and get *insert money amount* for having your face on a package". Which he does and forgets about it. I don’t think its basic greed that he’s calling them out on. It’s allowing said greed to get in the way of the organization.
