Boom, I voted for Barak to do 3 things.... end the wars, universal health care AND comprehensive financial reform for Wall Street.

Lets see..... Upped the ante on Afghan(?), threatens Iran for our sister nation, Never even asks for single payer health care ( seriously, you gotta ask for what you want ) and rolled over for Goldman Sachs.... not to mention allowing BP to control the investigation into itself and never investigating the Bush crimes. And while that was all happening, Citizens United pulled a coup on democracy out of a debate on campaign finance reform (???!!!!!) You can't make this stuff up!

Now that's Ron Turner football..... maybe worse, John Shoop. No risk, no reward. Punt.

"3rd and 8 at the Bear 25, Matthews back to pass, wide receiver screen, gain of 1".

"Man, that's the 4th time Shoop called that play on third down... doesn't he know the distance?"

Windy,

I forgive you for the Obama stuff b/c you're a good Bears fan.

I actually wrote a post about that very dilemma on my ChicagoNow blog, FIRE LOVE SMITH: http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/chicago-bears-fire-lovie-smith/2010/07/a-diehard-bears-fans-dilemma.html

Give it a read and see if that helps express what you're feeling.

As for our friends the McCaskeys, I don't think you can expect a Blackhawks-like transformation if Ginny were to life this mortal shell and a change in ownership didn't exactly help the Cubs this year, did it?

There is no way they're going to cash out on a Billion dollar cash cow.

I heard this on The Score yesterday and will be working on a blog post too. The biggest factor in a Lovie return is the CBA. If there is a lockout, there is NO WAY the Bears will fire Lovie, even if the Bears go 4-12 because it would mean paying 2 coaches not to coach next season. Something to keep an eye on.

"cardboard cutout of sid luckman"..... genius Boom.

I have one question.... how can I root for my Bears AND root more for Lovie and Jerry to find new homes?

I can't take another Dick Jauron miracle and extensions for either. I just can't.

Weird place to be as a fan, but I campaigned for Obama and now I can't believe the defintion to his "change" is "more of the same" This country/bears needs radical change.

Maybe it's the Mc Caskey's that need to move on.
