Olsen did have a handful of Wembley’s jersey, it’s true. However, if you look at the video, Greg was moving straight ahead, pushing Wembly back. Near the end of the block, when Wembley spun Olsen away and disengaged, Greg let him go and didn’t pull him to the ground or impede his progress. That’s why it didn’t get called.

Notice the over pursuit by the rookie middle linebacker as well. I give a little credit to that inexperience. I guess it’s a good learning tool for the oakland coaches and their rook linebacker.

Go back and look at Page 5 of the breakdown where I show the running lane. Olsen already has a handful of jersey and Forte has yet to bust through the hole. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy we caught a break with how the preseason has gone.

Nice breakdown, but if you watch the play closely, the hold happened after Forte was by him. Wimbley wouldn’t have made the tackle.
