This post makes me feel much better about trading away so many draft picks, they apparently never get developed into legitimate NFL players anyway. Apparently Jerry does the brunt of his draft research on YouTube.

Nice post Boomer

We've all written about how bad Jerry is with 1st round picks, but your post spotlights another serious inadequacy... the third round.

Nothing is cement, but shouldn't your first three rounds at least equate to active players.
The amount of wide receivers that we haven't developed is ridiculous and the one that developed himself (Aromashado) is somehow suffocated under a shallow depth chart.

Bradley, Bennet, Iglesias... 3 draft classes, 3 3rd rounders, 3 incomplete grades.. is anyone coaching the wide receivers?

Translate that to our dline. Melton, Gilbert, Anderson... will we ever even hear about Wooten? Heck, they couldn't find a permanent spot for Izzy. Didn't we let Ian Scott go?

Do I need to mention our defensive Backfield? We've been force fed that Daniel Manning is our teams best athlete (?), but they can't find him a position? Is Steltz the latest Archuleta? Who is Corey Grahm? Can he play? How can there be so many questions about incumbant players?

Garrett Wolfe is another mystery. I see no proof that he's worth a roster spot... special teams isn't enough unless you return the ball extremely well.

Tim Shaw is a special teams anomaly.... maybe he can play strong safety????

It's so late in the game for this suggestion, but moving Peanut to safety allows our best ball hawk the whole field to cause havoc. He's not fast enough to cover man to man, I saw a replay of last years Cardinal game and he was getting abused. But he does take good lines, reads the play well and finds the ball. Let him play centerfield and lay the wood.

Heck, you could even utilize one of our strengths and put #54 at SS.... it allows Roach a spot on the field and Brian can still run. It's not a risk because we currently have no answer and he played that position at NM.

Do you think opposing receivers would relish #54 and Peanut in the secondary? Ouch and the run support is ridiculous.

If we're gonna suck, might as well go for it. Nothing worse than a "conservative" losing team.

I'll spare you all my thoughts on the o line, that's a freaking book.
