Matt Forte: Your NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Forte capped off a strong Week 1 performance in the Bears’ 19-14 win over the Detroit Lions by adding some hardware, the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Forte tallied over 200 yards from scrimmage, including touchdown catches of 89 and 28 yards. The latter was the decisive score (that counted, not the Calvin Johnson non-TD).
I already asked if it’s too early to start calling him Marshall Forte and I guess the voters agreed.
