Bears Beat Packers 20-17, Take Early Control of NFC

The Bears are the last undefeated team in the NFC and have taken early control of the conference with a 20-17 win over the Packers.  Check out the highlights from NFL.com here.

A couple of quick notes before I completely crash and burn:

  • Game Ball #1 to the Special Teams unit.  Didn’t I say they needed to be special in my pre-game notes? Welcome back Devin Hester!  And  a Julius Peppers blocked FG to boot!  Nice job guys!
  • Game Ball #2 to Jay Cutler because he gets his ass kicked over and over again and keeps getting back up.  It wasn’t pretty, but it got the job done.
  • Brian Urlacher played big and when it mattered most, got the crucial strip to set up the winning field goal. Welcome back!
  • Thank you to the Packers for committing 18 penalties for 152 yards.  When you eek out a 3 point win, every little bit helps.

Plenty more coverage from the entire Bear Goggles On team on a Bears victory Tuesday.

BEAR DOWN!!!
