Ha, nice catch GNH. I did a little research and Mitchell actually scored his 13th TD in his 956th ‘game’ in 2002, 1070 was his career total. He didn’t have any TD returns in his final season.

Truly amazing — let’s see, the article says that Devin Hester hit the record in 262 games. At 16 games per season, this means that he started playing in the NFL 16 and a half years ago, when he was 11 years old. And the 1070 games that Brian Mitchell played sure added up to a great, 76-year long career; must have been tough returning those kick offs when he was over ninety years old….

Hester should be on third down situation and focus on punts and kickoff returns. AD should be the starting receiver for the bears period.

Hester needs to keep returning kicks, and worry less about being a reciever, he is our biggest weapon on special teams and can swing the momentum of a game quicker with ST play than catching a pass Knox can make. DEVIN HESTER IS RIDICULOUS! On a side note… why dont we try to run the ball a little more often? Maybe Cutler wont get killed if we sprinkle in a few more run plays, and screen passes.
