Bye Week Still Presents Opportunities for Bears

facebooktwitterreddit

Even though the Bears are on a BYE this weekend, there are still opportunities to move up in the standings.  Two key games to keep an eye on while you take you recover from your Halloween party hangover or take your kids trick-or-treating (or both!).  The NFL has graciously split up our main rivals’ games up, so you can see both.

The Early Game:

Green Bay at New York Jets

Aaron Rodgers takes the beaten up Packers to the Meadowlands to face Rex Ryan’s bruising Jets defense.  The Pack head in as a 6 point underdog.  If the Jets can hold serve at home, the Bears will take sole possession of first place in the NFC North.

The Late Game:

Minnesota Vikings at New England Patriots

Brett Favre brings his junk to New England to square off with Tom Brady and the Patriots.   Favre has the whole streak thing going and you know that come hell or high water, he’s going to play.   I hope he does and that leg gets broken all the way through.  The Vikings’ second half schedule definitely eases up and the Bears have yet to face them, so the more games we can get on them as a head start are welcomed.

Go Jets and Go Pats and

BEAR DOWN!!!
