Clipped from: www.nfl.com (share this clip) There’s always one.  You know, the guy raining on the parade.  While Bears fans are puffy chested and checking airfare to Dallas after a thrilling 31-26 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan isn’t convinced the Bears are ready for prime time.  In fact, he thinks the NFC North-leading Bears will miss the post-season.  Let’s look into his logic a bit after the jump.

In the wake of their surprising 31-26 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the Bears are quickly becoming Must See TV.  The December 12th game against the New England Patriots has been flexed to a 3:15 Central kickoff. The Bears are no longer flying under the radar nationally.  At 8-3, they’re are firmly entrenched in the NFC playoff discussion, sitting atop the NFC North a full game lead over the Green Bay Packers.   Speaking of the Packers, that is the only remaining game on the schedule that could be flexed. 

The Bears wrapped up the Thanksgiving weekend by stuffing some birds from Philadelphia and sending Michael Vick and his Eagles home with their tails between their legs following a 31-26 win.  The big concern coming into the game was the big play ability of the the high flying Eagles but as it turns out, it was Jay Cutler and the Bears whose big plays keyed the upset victory.  Check out the NFL.com highlights here.
