Corey Wooten may very well have become the answer to a trivia question.  The question?  Who ended Brett Favre’s career?  Here is Wooten’s sack that knocked Brett Favre out of Monday night’s 40-17 Chicago Bears win: But that one doesn’t do it justice.  Hit the jump for my all-time favorite picture. 

Chicago Bears radio play by play man Jeff Joniak originally nicknamed Devin Hester the Windy City Flyer.  That was in his rookie year, when Hester took the NFL by storm and changed the return game as we know it, nearly single-handedly carrying the Bears to the Super Bowl.  Now he’s known simply as ridiculous. Some may call them lucky, others may call them a team of destiny but whatever you call the 2010 Chicago Bears, it begins and ends with NFC North Champions.   The Chicago Bears are your 2010 NFC North division champions.  Did you ever think you’d see those words strung together into a real sentence after a tumultuous offseason followed up with an 0-4 preseason?  Me neither.

Check out this cool video from the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium in preparation for the Monday night showdown between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears.   The video spans the work done between last Tuesday and Friday.  For more details, check out the U of M’s website here. This will be the first outdoor Vikings home game in 29 years.  With the forecast for the game calling for heavy snow at times, just play in reverse to get an idea of what it will look like getting dumped back down.

The Bears and Vikings are set for Snow Bowl II tonight out of TCF Bank Stadium.  Get your commemorative T-shirts here. When was Snow Bowl I exactly? Oh yeah, I guess last week’s game at Ford Field against the Giants.   They’ll make a T-shirt for anything.

As the Bears prepared for their Monday Night Football matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, they gained ground in the playoff race and the NFC North division title is within reach.  The Patriots reluctantly did their part to set the stage for the Bears to take the division title with their 31-27 win over the Packers. Quick Summary of Last Week: Last week was overall, my first sub-500 week in awhile.  That’s the Bears fault, as it has been most of the year.  To be honest, I was kind of happy at the way my top three picks played out.  In my TOP 3, I was 2-1 and the one team that lost was the Packers.  I’ll take those numbers weekly.  I would’ve really been upset if the Packers scored on their final drive to win the game and not cover, but fortunately the Flynner couldn’t put it out.  He won’t this week either.  I felt [...]
