Boom, taking the words right out of my mouth as usual. I turned to my buddy at half time and said "win, lose or draw I'll be happy with the outcome of this game". Turned out I was lying. My hope, and it is nothing more than that, is that they decided to pull out all the stops during a meaningless game and will get back to what has been working since the bye.

It seemed like Martz said to Lovie, "Hey this game doesn't really matter so lets try the Martz offense one more time to see if it works now."

Obviously, it's already been proven to not work with this group of guys. I assume they will go back to what has been working come playoff time. Martz seems like a stubborn guy and Lovie's a pushover. I think Sunday's game showed that Lovie has less control than we think.

Boom - I felt Cutler and Martz both make a lot of mistakes. Cutler held on to the ball way too long on several blitzes and took avoidable sacks. Also, Martz called way too many 5 and 7 step drops on obvious blitzing downs.
What happen to the quick slants and hot routes on blitzing downs? And, the outside run was working well with Forte and even Taylor. Seemed like he gave up on it for nothing but deep balls.
The second half looked like earlier in the year and almost like Martz was in panic mode.
