First off let me say that, growing up in Toledo, the Bears were about the closest I came to having a team from 1980-1991. I do like the Bears.

But I honestly think you all are setting yourselves up for disappointment with my adopted Hawks coming to town. "The Bears will know by the time they kick off on Sunday whether they will be hosting the Packers for an NFC title." Hubris.

1) The Bears are a good team, but they are the least scary 11-5 team I have ever seen.
2) If there is any team that is ready for a post-peak letdown, it is the Bears. They will not have played in 2 weeks after over acheiving to get the title, killing momentum. Meanwhile, the Hawks have been fighting, earning, and gaining momentum in the last 2 weeks. Think Cardinals a couple seasons ago.
3) Cutler's first playoff game... that has to be scary. He can be wild on a great day, and this is uncharted. At the very least, you have to be worried that Seattle got pressure with 3 D-linemen against the Saints. Cutler =/ Brees, so I wouldn't plan for his production. Yes, the Hawk's passing D is bad, but if Cutler throws 60 passes like Brees did Saturday, how many of those will be picks and sacks? The Bears can only win if they balance the run, and I personally don't think they can do that and keep up.
4) Preparing for Saints last week, Lovie??? Carrol has said he doesn't even use that stuff as motivation, and I believe him. But really, does that send a good message to your team about taking this game seriously?
5) The Saints pass D is better than the Bears and... well, see Saturday. No, Hass can't count on all of those same perfect throws, but he didn't need to be perfect in October either.
6) Okung. He shut down Peppers in the last game and our running game has gotten better in the last couple weeks. If he makes it through the game without hurting his ankle/s, the Hawks win this game.

9.5 points? The Hawks will win this one stright up. Tell me where I'm wrong, becasue I don't see it.

Let's have a good game!
