Hester Calls Out Carroll in Sounds of the Game

The Bears put a nice compilation of their sounds of the game on their Chicagobears.com website.  Check it out after the jump and sorry about the dang autoplay.

My favorite part – and what is somewhat relevant to this weekend’s game – comes at about the 1:47 mark when Devin Hester calls out current Seahawks and former USC head coach Pete Carroll for not recruiting him at USC.  The weasel Carrol tries to pin it on Lane Kiffin.

Hester wasn’t buying.  In fact, later in the day Devin put the exclamation point on it with a punt return for a touchdown to try to bring the Bears back late.  Michael Wright gives some more details on it in his blog over at ESPN Chicago too.

After that, Carroll hasn’t learned his lesson.  He claims the Seahawks will kick to Hester on Sunday.

"“We’ve got to kick the ball to him,” Carroll said on “The Afternoon Saloon” on ESPN 1000. “There’s nothing we can do about it.”"

I hope he does.  Devin will make him pay up, one way or another.
