I have never been a Peanut fan but I have to admit the dude has been lights out the past two games. When Williams caught that second touchdown it was honestly the first time I said to myself "if Tillman were on him he wouldn't have caught it". Hell, even the first touchdown he caught was a great play by Tillman and a fluke of a catch for Williams. If that Peanut shows up again next week I like the Bears chances.

Interesting thought but I think we're starting to border on like Aussie rule football or something like that. I think it would take away from the fundamentals of football. Can you imagine a 4th and short and just pooching it to your own guy?

As far as Peanut goes, he had a helluva day. He needs to have a day equal to or better to advance past the Packers.

There was one play where I thought a rule change would be necessary in the NFL. The second Brad Maynard punt where he dropped it at the 5 and Graham caught it on the fly. My thought: If an offensive player catches *anything* on the fly, it should count as a pass-catch, and the offensive player should be allowed to advance the ball after the catch. That would stop the silly practice of PRs letting the ball bounce behind them and basically not playing the game. If the ball bounces, it's a punt-turnover, and the kicking team can down it, as per the current rules.

BTW, Peanut bashers, shut your faces right now.
