The point is, lol, the statement is historically false regardless of source. Now I will be clear since you are bear fans and I know you struggle with logic: The only way you can have the bears winning is if history, facts, and stats are ignored. Hence, the irony statement.

Yeah and look how well the ‘experts’ have done so far in the playoffs, no one is better than 5-3. So, let’s see…That’s the equivalent of 10-6, but the Bears were 11-5. So by my count….The Bears are going to the Super Bowl!

I’m sure the ‘experts’ used much better ‘logic’ to pick the #6 seed in the playoffs to win the game. Either way, Bears!
