		<description>Not only are they ranked appropriately, but I seriously hope that this is the highest they&#039;re ranked by any media outlet for the entire year.  Lovie Smith&#039;s teams have proven in the past that they play best when they play pissed.  If they&#039;re not in the top 5, and they feel that they are a top 5 team, then they just play better.  Also, if the Slack is ahead of the Bears all season, that&#039;s another motivating factor to make them play great.

 

BTW, along with the Slack at #1, the Kittens at 14, and the Queen at 24, there is nothing that I don&#039;t love about this power ranking list.  The NFC North has put the entire NFL on notice.  I would not be surprised to see this division go 30-10 against teams NOT from the division.  All 4 teams are decent at worst, and two are elite at best.  I also would not be surprised to see 3 teams from the North in the playoffs this season.  It&#039;s gonna be a good one ^_^</description>
