Brian Urlacher’s mother, Lavoyda, passes away

We, at BGO, would like to send our condolences to Brian Urlacher and his family for the sudden passing of his mother Lavoyda. Brian made the following statement,
"“My first priority right now is to be with my family as we mourn her loss and make the arrangements to lay her to rest,” Urlacher said in a statement released by the Bears. “This is a very difficult and emotional time for us and I sincerely ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you.”"
Family does come first…many other reports are commenting on how close Brian was to his mother, which I am sure makes this time even harder, if that is at all possible. I know we certainly will all understand if Brian is not available for his day job this weekend, because family comes first, but I can’t help but pity the Saints if he is able to play…
