I felt that his leadership style was becoming more of a noose around the line's neck, and less of a positive motivational influence. I also felt that he really wasn't performing as well as people (even Pro Football Focus were saying). He wasn't getting around edge as well, and when the Bears needed some tough, short yards, he was getting blown up. So, for some reason, this announcement didn't surprise me. I was 100% in favor of the Bears not bringing Olin back this year… at any price.
