I know he wasn't having his best season but really? It's not like safety was a real strong position Conte has potential but is still green, Wright is always hurts, and Meriweather was cut by Bellichick, which is a kiss of death as far as I'm concerned. Even worse is the fact that not only do we lose the most prolific tweeter in the NFL but we get a temporary bump in platitudes from Lovie about how despite cutting another veteran leader "we like the guys we got". This just makes me crazy. I know he wasn’t having his best season but really?
