This is going to be a really rapid reaction because we’ve got some family stuff this afternoon.   I’ll post a more in-depth reaction post tonight, so tune back in later tonight. The Bears looked pretty dominant for about 3 quarters before the Bucs stormed back in the 4th quarter, but their comeback bid came up a bit short as the Bears defense stiffened when it needed. If there’s a queen of the NFL, it’s Virginia McCaskey, the daughter of NFL founding father George “Papa Bear” Halas.   It’s only fitting that the queen of the NFL heads to London as her Bears take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  She looks like she’s holdin up pretty well.  Hope the Bears can put on a good show for her.   There has a been a lot of debate about the Chicago Bears arriving in London (located six hours ahead of Central Standard Time) this morning as opposed to getting there earlier in the week like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did on Monday.  I couldn’t help but immediately react and say, “Who really cares what day they arrive?”  But all the reaction on both sides of the argument has made me think about it.

My apologies guys for being away last week.  Mrs. DeCon was away and I was holding down the fort with my 3 little Bears each running in different directions.  Needless to say, this Papa Bear had a tiring weekend.  But, week 7 is upon us so check out my picks, which are gonna dig a little deep because 6 teams are on a bye…on the other side…
