Unfortunately, Martz totally disregarded the fact that his backup QB was playing against the Raiders. I've been screaming all year for more commitment to the run game and this is the chance to do it. A little more run emphasis and you might even see the passing game benefit (Martz' head might blow up if he read that), a la Jon Kitna 2010. And what better way to help an uneasy backup QB and give the run game some relief than a couple screen passes. He can't catch to save his own life, but I was just saying the other day I believe they should give Hester some opportunities out of the backfield with unique packages.
