[...] I don’t even have it in me right now to give you the bullet points from the game. The bottom line is the Bears are done for the season. They’re now looking up at the Seattle Seahawks for the Wild Card. In a game where they had everything to play for, the Bears wilted. The coaching staff got outcoached and out-adjusted. The defense wet the bed. The special teams folded. In their loss to the Seahawks, just like this season, the Bears collapsed. – Boomer (probably not Chris Berman or Boomer Esiason), from Bear Goggles On, describes the death blow...
@Chicago Irish The last few years I have posted as the "Windy Cynic" saying the exact same things as you do above. When they gave Lovie the extension, I was devasted. I remember Dick Jauron and John Shoop being given the same CHEAP extensions after a miracle 13-3 smoke and mirrors season.

It's time to clean house. Jerry, Lovie, Ted, Rod, Mike M.... all gotta go. Keep Toub or promote him and Tice... they seem to be the only teachers we have on staff.

Babich and that joke of a wide receivers coach should resign with some dignity after the others slink away into the holes that they emerged from.

The amount of frustration I have with this team is damn near laughable. I’m teetering on the thought (please, for give me) of even watching any of the remaining games this year. Hard to watch pure crap for three hours every week. Sad to say, but there is a part of me that hopes (please for give me even more) that the Bears go up to Green Bay and get absolutely embarrassed. May be that will be enough to trigger the firing squad. Granted, that is assuming McCaskey has a pulse and even cares about this organization.

These problems go way back, mostly stemming frm our lackluster front office and our coaching staff's inability to mange talent on ANY level. First, where has C. Graham been the last two weeks? The guy was on fire...have you even heard DJ Moore's name called?

Then you have to question since Hester is getting practically no snaps on offense, why is he not returning EVERY kick?!?! The Bears then stick with Hanie after 3 weeks of 3 and outs and down two touchdowns only to march him back on the field. Folks, if they kept Hanie in because McCown isnt ready, which by the look of things he is not, what does this say about our process? We needed to sign a QB to go .500 until Jay gets healthy.

Our staff, or should I say Lovie, is as hard headed and stubborn as they come. Caleb is our QB, we like our guys, we made enough plays on offense to win the game, we like what Caleb is doing he is improving each week, blah, blah, blah. I can honestly say the defense is the only reason the past 4 weeks were even paletteable!

I'm a diehard Bears fan, but we all deserve better. Angelo is our biggest problem, the coaching staff is erratic, player development is awful, and the ability to evaluate our own players is awful. I think it's about time for the McKaskey's to reach deep down in that pocket of theirs and pay us, the fans back, for ripping us off time and time again.

P.S. the field STILL sucks!

glad Knox isn't worse, to say he's ok is a stretch.

Ugly game, 4th in a row. The qb ineptitude of the championship game was never addressed and we're paying for it now.
