I’d like to see Jeff Fisher stand above Lovie and take over the coahing duties after the one year gift.

As for Polian, I think that his son is the one now who would be in charge and I think that’s a key reason he’s out of Indy. If that’s the case, Bears should pass. Colt wise, it wasn’t only Manning though this season. They had several key injuries on defense too, plus the O line is terrible. I think the Bears D has a couple of years left in them, but not many. Definitely would dump Roy “Hands of Stone” Williams and go after a decent receiver. Vincent Jackson is a free agent, he’d be worth a look for sure. O line needs help and the big issue, to me, is that the Bears offense was built around the Martz system, so the players they have now fit that system, hence the trade of Olsen. Whoever takes over has a lot to do for sure. It will be interesting.

Everyone looks smarter when you have a sure-fire first ballot Hall of Famer at quarterback. He didn’t look so smart this season when Manning went down, did he. Much like the Bears, the Colts were not built on a firm foundation. I’m not convinced on Polian.

I’d rather see someone who can re-build the Bears through the draft because the end is near for Urlacher, Briggs, et al. @NaJorPro

2 words…Peyton Manning! I would prefer McKenzie or Dorsey…McKenzie and Lovie are tight, so I suspect it will be him since the new GM has to inherit Lovie.
