Welcome to Bear Goggles On 3.0! The FanSided mother ship has been working on this for some time and we’re really excited to finally be able to share our new look with the world. What’s new, you ask?
Besides the new look graphics, the biggest difference you’ll find is a new section called THE HUB. THE HUB is an area where we get to share links, tweets, videos and quotes with you. It’s a place for quick hits and snippets – maybe Bears related and maybe just something fun or off the wall – that we want to share with you without going through the formality of a full post. Those precious little nuggets will get nestled into the timeline between the usual posts.
The new look also allows us to put up a Featured post at the top of the page. Even though you check the site multiple times a day (OK, maybe that’s just me!), we won’t necessarily push the best posts down the page every time we post an update about a Bears player getting busted for dealing drugs or another stupid Rick Telender article.
What do you think of the new look? Any suggestions I can pass along to the Mother Ship? While we’re taking suggestions, is there anything you’d like to see from us this offseason? More Bears history and flashbacks? How about mock drafts and scouting of college players? Create a captions? Mailbags? We’re here to serve. It’s a loooong offseason after the Super Bowl and we’re looking forward to spending it with you.
