Love the update to the site! The only silver lining on the horizon (and I don't mean this in a disrespectful way to Virginia McCaskey) is that it's possible that if Virginia were to pass away, the value of the Bears (estimated at upwards of $1 Billion) would require the inheritors to pay taxes on that amount. Meaning that it may be possible that the McCaskeys may have to sell the franchise once she passes. (Again, I don't mean this to sound hopeful in any way, that is definitely not my intent). But, what I am hopeful for is a change of ownership. Some owners want to win and they put their investment where their mouth is (Mark Cuban, Robert Kraft, and even Jerry Jones to name a couple examples). But the McCaskeys definitely seem to manage their franchise with zero emotional involvement. I would rather have a passionate and crazy Jerry Jones than the distant overseers we have now. Hey Boomer!
