Since the previous off season signings were on the offensive and special teams side of the ball, I look for Phil to go heavy on defense in the draft. True, our defense is not dead but we've haven't been as hard hitting as we were say 2 or 3 seasons ago. While our major stars are absolutely still playing lights out, an injection of youth into the secondary will only compliment our core. Now is also the time to prepare transitioning to the future. The offensive skill side is relatively young Bennett (25), Cutler (28), Forte (26), Marhsall (28), Thomas (25) and Weems (26). So other than the 2 wide receivers I see us double dipping for in the draft, we'll probably pick CB, LB, DT/DE - O-Line notwithstanding. While it's doubtful the Browns are willing to give up #4 overall, I can see them parting with #22 and an additional 3rd rounder or down. Even though Philips has stated that Forté will be a Bear this season I'm looking for Phil to make a powerplay and pull off some amazing Draft Day trade with him!

We shall see.

We don't have a choice. The Oline is a mess despite the Hallas Hall Hyperbole.

Williams is a bust. Carimi an unknown. Webb? Please. We should take the best available Left Tackle.

Looks like talent will slip into rounds two and three for WR's, protection is the priority.
