The Other Side of the Story – Brian Price Trade

There are always two sides to every story. The Bears picked up DT Brian Price from the Bucs, reportedly for a 7th round pick in 2013.  Here’s what our FanSided counterparts at The Pewter Plank had to say about the trade:

Here’s what’s encouraging if you’re a Bears fan:

The injury woes shouldn’t continue to be a problem and under Lovie Smith’s defensive system, Price should flourish more so than he did in Tampa. He merely showed potential in Tampa but was bogged down in Raheem Morris’ garbled and confusing system.

It’s nice to get a point of view from someone who followed this former second round pick out of UCLA for the last couple of seasons.  Let’s hope that’s the case because the Bears could use some depth on the interior D-line.
