Vegas Sets Over/Under Total for Chicago Bears Wins at 8.5
The over/under win total for the 2013 season have been released and Vegas thinks the Bears could take a step back from their 2012 ten win season. The Chicago Bears have been installed to win 8.5 of their games, less than the 10 wins they tallied last season.
Getting to 10 wins is no small feat and Vegas only has six teams with 10 or more wins in 2013 including the division rival Green Bay Packers tabbed for 12 wins, NFC West powerhouses the San Francisco 49ers with 11.5 wins and the Seattle Seahawks with 11 wins and the Atlanta Falcons with 10 wins.
Other notable NFC teams picked with more wins then the Bears are the New Orleans Saints (9.5 wins), the New York Giants (9.5 wins) and Washington Redskins (9 wins).
Although the Vikings beat out the Bears for that last playoff spot last season, Vegas predicts they’ll come back down to Earth with only 7.5 wins while the Detroit Lions have an over/under set at 7 wins.
The Bears’ 2013 opponents include teams coming from the NFC East and AFC North, besides the usual matchup with their NF North rivals. All in all, the Bears have seven games with teams picked to finish with more wins.
Check out the full schedule and my ridiculously early predictions. I pegged the Bears with an optimistic 10 wins, so I guess I’d be betting the over.
