Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery have been joined at the hip (Marshall’s good one) this offseason, as the veteran wide receiver has taken the second year pass catcher under his wing.  They’ve been training together all offseason, even though Marshall has been limited while recovering from offseason hip surgery.  They’ve become the Bears’ version of Batman and Robin.

On Wednesday, the Bears’ dynamic duo hooked up with the Joker of NFL wide receivers, Chad Johnson, to train and work on techniques.  Johnson tweeted a couple of pics out from their training session.

And this one with @BMarshall

Johnson recently made headlines as he had to serve some jail time for slapping his attorney on the rear as a friendly gesture during a plea deal.  The judge did not find the former Ochocinco’s act too amusing and tossed him in jail.

Johnson/Ochocinco spent the bulk of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he had most of his success including six consecutive 1000 yard seasons.  He is currently out of the league, but apparently thinks he can still contribute somewhere.

Johnson was with the Dolphins last preseason but was cut following a domestic abuse case with his then-wife.  The story drew an even larger audience as it played out on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

If the Bears wide receivers can gain something from working with Johnson, more power to them.  As long as they don’t pick up his bad personal habits, it’s all good with me.

What do you think?  Do you like the idea of Marshall and Jeffery working out with Johnson or are you worried his craziness will rub off on our wideouts?
