#65 2012– Matt Forte

I play in two dynasty leagues and sadly this will be the first season that I won’t have Matt Forte on both teams.  Yes, being a homer paid off when I drafted Forte in both rookie drafts. Forte’s only drawback is his inability to score from within the 5 yard line rushing which is the difference between Forte being a very good NFL Fantasy back and a Top 3 back! Forte is great to have on your roster because of all the receiving yards he gets which after a year drop off should return with the Marc Trestman era.

Retro #65- 2002 Issac Bruce- WR St. Louis Rams- Bruce was part of one of the best offenses in NFL history and it didn’t  matter if it was Kurt Warner or Marc Bulger throwing him the ball Bruce was a very good wide receiver to have on your roster.  Bruce was a very high 2nd tier fantasy wide receiver year in and year out.

Looking Ahead #65

ESPN- Darren McFadden- RB Oakland Raiders- McFadden should be an elite running back but two things hold this up. 1. He plays for the Oakland Raiders 2. He gets hurt too much.  McFadden will be drafted high but if you take him, make sure you take the entire backfield.

CBS- Pierre Garcon- WR Washington Redskins- Garcon looked fabulous in Week#1 than he had to go and get hurt.  If Garcon stays healthy he will be a huge steal because he will go later than everyone else and his stats will be higher than most if Garcon stays healthy!
