#57 2012-Tony Gonzalez TE Atlanta Falcons Gonzalez is a future Hall of Famer that is still fantasy relevant at the end of his career.  Even though he’s near the end #88 was still highly effective for one of the better offenses in the NFL. Gonzalez had 93 catches for 930 yards and 8 touchdowns.  There was a lot of talk of Gonzalez retiring, but he decided to come back and will still be a top #5 Tight End in 2013!

Retro-#57 2002– Torrie Holt- WR St. Louis Rams- Holt was part of one of the best fantasy offenses of all-time and even without Kurt Warner as his quarterback, Holt but up 1,000 yard seasons with Marc Bulger as his quarterback all the way up until 2007.  Holt was always a trade deadline throw in guy which could help your flex position out in early 2000’s in our dynasty leagues.

Look Ahead #57

ESPN-Jason Witten-TE Dallas Cowboys- Witten as discussed earlier is a top 5 tight end and will be a huge target for Tony Romo for a long time to come.  Look for him to go quickly when the tight end run begins in your fantasy draft.

CBS- Tony Gonzalez- Pretty ironic that #88 is ranked by CBS where he finished the 2012 season. Gonzalez isn’t at the top of the list, but with all the New England question marks he’s still startable every week  as your starting tight end.
