#19-2012 Carson Palmer QB Oakland Raiders Palmer has moved on to the desert of Arizona, but last season in a terrible offense he still passed for 4000 yards 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Expectations for what Palmer can do in Arizona is mixed with some thinking the connection with Larry Fitzgerald could become one of the best in the league.  Cardinals running situation is suspect but Palmer can sling it so where he ends up can be as big of a mystery as where gets drafted.

Retro #19-2002 Shaun Alexander-RB Seattle Seahawks  Alexander was one of the top 3 running backs from 2000-2005 in fantasy football and Alexander had one of the best fantasy games all-time in Week #4 against the Minnesota Vikings rushing for 139 yards and 4 touchdowns and catching 3 balls for 92 yards and one touchdown.  Ten years later it’s still a top 5 scoring game in fantasy all-time

Looking Ahead

ESPN-Aaron Rodgers-QB Green Bay Packers- Even though I’m a Bears fan, in fantasy football Rodgers is the best in the business.  In a dynasty league I traded for him the offseason before he became a starter and it has never stop paying dividends.  One draft strategy is picking Rodgers first with pick 4-7 of the first round, but most let him slide until very late in the first round.

CBS-Demarco Murray-RB Dallas Cowboys- I’m not a big fan of Cowboy running backs or of Murray.  Murray is injury prone so let someone else take the risk early in the draft.
