#15-2012 Eli Manning-QB New York Giants This is another Quarterback I’ve always stayed away from, but it seems kind of foolish if you look at his stat line.  He did digress some in 2012 from his gaudy stats in 2011 when he threw for 4,900 yards.  Manning does throw a lot of interceptions which is probably why he’s never ended up on any of my rosters.

Retro #15-2002 Brett Favre-QB Green Bay Packers  I hated Favre for his entire career as a Bear killer to the guy that throws three touchdowns and rushes for a touchdown against the San Diego Chargers in the fourth quarter to knock me out of a fantasy football Super Bowl to the guy that was a media hog at the end of his career.  Favre threw for a ton of touchdowns and way too many picks, but he was a “Gunslinger” so some how that made it Ok.

Looking Ahead

ESPN-Matt Forte-RB Chicago Bears Forte may get less touches this season, but it could mean more quality chances for Forte.  He’s a good not great fantasy running back because of the red zone, but in pre-season game #2 he ran one in from close range which is a great sign!

CBS-Chris Johnson RB Tennessee Titans Many experts are predicting  Johnson to have a huge season this year. Johnson is fast but needs a hole  to show off his incredible speed. If the offensive line does it’s job Johnson is a steal late in the first round/early 2nd round.

Good luck to anyone drafting this weekend!
