What is the Saints most favorable matchup against the Bears?

It has to be the pass rush against the shaky Bears offensive line, which ProFootballFocus has graded in the negative so far this season. Jenkins and folks along the line are getting consistent pressure, as are linebackers like Galette and Parys Haralson. The team should have little issue applying pressure to Cutler for most of the game.

What is the Saints most unfavorable matchup against the Bears?

As well as the secondary has played thanks to Vaccaro and Co., the corners do not match up well with the duo of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, not to mention Martellus Bennett. If Cutler can get the ball out before the rush gets to him the Saints are going to have a hard time stopping the aerial attack.

What is your prediction for the game, including a final score?

No bias here as I don’t associate with a team, but I have a hard time seeing the Saints lose this one. The offense is second only to Denver’s thanks to guys like Jimmy Graham. There’s no running game, but Brees gets rid of the ball so quickly to shifty guys in space it doesn’t really matter and also neutralizes a rush. Chicago is a great team headed for the playoffs, but New Orleans is finally backed with an above average defense, which is scary for any team in its path.

New Orleans Saints 30, Chicago Bears 17
