Coach Boss (2-2)

I have been going back and forth between these two teams all week long. On one hand, I see the Bears rebounding and playing well as a whole and Cutler cutting down on the mistake but still throwing 1 pick. One the other hand, I see a Darren Sproles running all over the field just like Reggie Bush and Jimmy Graham running seam routes and catching balls for big chunks of yards. This game comes down to turnovers and I think the Bears keep it close and create a key turnover late in the game then go down and score the game winner with little to no time left.

GM Mouser (2-2)

The Bears faithful will call for a win, but the Bears D is really struggling and Brees will pick them apart without pressure. Maybe this is the week the Bears D finds its mojo, but I think not. I think Cutler will struggle with turnovers trying to match points after falling behind early.

Bob Zalabak (1-1)

This is a great test for Marc Trestman. Can he make the adjustments that he needs to to keep the Bears offense humming along? Don’t look now but the Bears have scored the 2nd most points in the league behind Denver! I think he puts together a strong game plan and the Bears front 4 finally gets in gear to create issues for Brees. Saints will still put up 30 but Bears will win by a field goal.

After a tough week last week for both sides of the ball we will see a more polished performance from Cutler and company. As for the other side we will see them struggle to keep pace with the potent offence and Drew Brees,

Cameron Curtis (1-3)

I don’t expect the Bears’ defensive issues to be solved this week, or any time soon for that matter. The Henry Melton-less defensive line just can’t seem to generate any pressure, and blitzing is not an advisable strategy to beat Drew Brees. Jay Cutler rebounds from a rough week 4 performance, but fails to keep up with the high-flying Saints offense.

Saints 41 – Bears 34

Justin Mark (0-1)

Drew Brees is on a three game losing streak in Soldier Field and Jay Cutler usually bounces back in a big way after a bad game. Sproles is a lot like Bush but his run effectiveness is not the same. If Bears can limit Sproles and Graham and pressure Brees the offense will be able to keep up and they will win this game.

 Bears 34 – Saints 30

Trent Anderson (0-0)

The Saints have the most talented offense in the NFC. The Bears defense will not have an answer for both Graham and Colston, although I do think they’ll keep Sproles in check. Brees might throw for 400 yards in this one, but it won’t be enough thanks to Forte’s huge all-purpose day. A Devin Hester return TD will be the difference-maker in this one.
