Sometimes it sucks to be a sports writer. I am supposed to have answers. You want analysis. As a fan you are reading about your team to be entertained, and to be informed. Sometimes you just want to commiserate. You feel pain after a loss and you want to know you’re not alone. I’m here to tell you that there are a whole group of people who can’t grasp the loss Sunday at Soldier Field. It was a text-book example of giving a game away.

Still reeling from the win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday, I thought we were in a great position. We would beat the Detroit Lions and take first place in the division. We would go on to the playoffs and possibly #2 seed. I was drinking the Kool-aid. I was so high on the Bears that I forgot that they have a habit of disappointing us like this.

Yesterday, we were out-coached.

I still think like I did last week it was the Bears time to win. This game was just not in the cards when you get second chances and can’t complete them. What ever Jay or Marc did or didn’t do didn’t seem to matter. The running game was smuck and the offense not clicking maybe with a healthy player yea.The defense looked good and will get back some top players soon so who knows. All this said the Bears were in the game and had a chance to win. They have played well this year go Bears.
