Things for the two oldest, most storied franchises in professional football are not looking good right now. The Bears and their pathetic defense are missing opportunities and the Packers are without their lord and savior Aaron Rodgers. According to NFL.com, Aaron Rodgers practiced in pads, but has been officially ruled out against the Falcons. As far as I’m concerned, the longer he’s out, the better the Bears playoff hopes.

About the Author
My name is Elijah Zelonky, aka EZ, Lije, Lijey, Eli, and occasionally 'Jah. I am 17 years old and I live in Southern California. I am undoubtably the biggest Bears fan in the region, and at least tied for the biggest fan in the world. In the past, I have worked as a sports reporter, editor, and writer for my school's TV station. I can safely say that the Chicago Bears are one of my main sources of happiness and depression. My obsession with the team is comfortably insane. I know all the history as if I was around since George Halas played. I can remember at least one fact from every Bears game I've ever witnessed live. After suffering through Super Bowl XLI and the 2010 NFC Championship game, I am finally ready for a modern Super Bowl Shuffle. I've been alive since '96, and I still consider myself a long suffering fan. Bear Down!!!
