Things are looking up on the injury front for the Chicago Bears.  In the portion open to the media, Jay Cutler took the first team reps.  This was after he practiced yesterday and head coach Marc Trestman gave us this viewpoint:

"“We’ll work Jay out one more time,” Trestman said. “We’ll give him a good thorough workout and then we’ll let you know tomorrow. If things go as planned, [Cutler will start against the Browns]. But we do want to work him out one more time today after coming off a few days of being off.”"

So assuming there are no setbacks in practice or Brian Urlacher doesn’t swoop down from the FoxSports1 studios to re-injure Cutler’s ailing high ankle sprain, Jay Cutler will be the starter against the Cleveland Browns.  In fact, since I started writing this post, head coach Marc Trestman has confirmed that Cutler will start on Sunday against the Browns.

We have a couple of differing opinions on who should be the starter.  Lije thinks Cutler should start, I think the Bears should stick with McCown if they are serious about the playoffs.  You can vote in our poll to chime in or post your comments on the latest Chicago Bears quarterback controversy.
