Phil Emery surprised a lot of people by selecting an inexperienced offensive guard out of Oregon, the son of NFL legend Howie Long, by picking Kyle Long with the 20th pick in the 2013 NFL draft.  Long proved all doubters dead wrong, as he stepped in and made an immediate impact on the Bears overhauled offensive line.  It’s fair to say that no other draft pick had as much of a significant impact as Long did for the Bears, as they significantly upgraded their offensive line.
