Many experts still have Ford listed at his collegiate position of defensive end.  But at 6-2, 252 he’ll be undersized at the NFL level.  Ford would make for a great outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, which might make him a tough fit for the Bears.  He’s struggled with injuries throughout his career, but his talent is undeniable.  He’s a high motor player who has great range and fantastic closing speed.  He’s likely a second-round pick and the Bears should take a chance on him should he somehow fall to them.
