Corey Wootton Signs 1-Year Contract With Division Rival Vikings

The turnover on the Bears defense continues, with the latest casualty Corey Wootton who leaves the Bears and goes across the division to the rival Minnesota Vikings.
One of the big hangups with Wootton was offseason hip surgery, but apparently he’s recovering well enough for the Vikings to take a chance on the free agent defensive end:
Wootton had surgery for a torn labrum in his hip, but has recovered nicely. Gives Vikings great size at DE, can play inside as well.
