The schedule has been released and now it’s open season for all the pundits, including your truly, to start looking at wins and losses.  I’ve decided to let everything breathe for a couple of days before I make any snap judgments, but there are a few games that I believe to be the most important.  It’s not to say they’re the games I’m most looking forward to or the best games on the schedule, they’re the five games that I believe could make or break the 2014 season.

5. Week 12 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bears can’t lose to Lovie Smith.  You know he’ll have his Bucs fired up to face his former team. Hold your applause until Lovie’s first failed challenge.

With a Thanksgiving game against a division rival just a few days later, this is a classic trap game.  Trestman’s club can’t look past the Bucs or they’ll be the turkeys.
