The Chicago Bears continue to add players via the undrafted free agent market. Despite not drafting a linebacker, they are adding a few via the UFA market, including Florida State linebacker Christian Jones. There are conflicting reports that Jones selected the Jacksonville Jaguars, so keep in mind that with all of these signings, nothing is official until it’s official.
Jones was our 4th ranked inside linebacker prospect:
"4.) Christian Jones, Florida St (6’3, 240): Great athlete with good size and speed who is improving as a football player but still has to improve his technique and play recognition skills. Jones has been moving up draft boards quickly and has the versatility and size to play either inside or out."
He was at the top our our list of available UFA targets for the Bears to consider, so kudos to the Bears for landing another top target. Stick around for more news on undrafted free agents and all your Bears draft coverage.
